Be Spooktacular!  Give Blood & Collect a Vein Drain T-Shirt

Don’t be scared!  Be a blood donor with Texas Blood Institute this October and be spook-tacular!

Blood donors will receive a free, limited-edition, Halloween themed “Vein Drain” t-shirt, October 1 through 31, when they give blood at Texas Blood Institute’s Wichita Falls donor center or any Texas Blood Institute mobile blood drive.

“Vein Drain is all about getting our blood donors into the creepy but fun Halloween spirit,” said Daren Coats, regional vice president of Texas Blood Institute. “However, the reality is, every two seconds, someone needs blood to survive.  All it takes is about an hour of your time to save the lives of up to three patients facing trauma or ongoing treatment at our local hospitals.”

Texas Blood Institute relies solely on volunteer blood donors to meet the needs of patients at all major hospitals in the Texoma region.  Blood can be donated every 56 days.  Platelets can be given as often as every seven days, up to 24 times a year.

Appointments to give blood are not required but can be made by clicking here to search for blood drives in your area or calling (877) 340-8777.

Or you can stop our donor center in Wichita Falls.
